On the morning of January 27, 2026, at Dung Quất Economic Zone, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Huthaco – Dung Quất Mechanical Manufacturing Plant Project, invested by Wookwang Vietnam Co., Ltd.

The project was launched in a joyful atmosphere celebrating the success of the 14th National Party Congress, demonstrating the strong political determination of the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Quảng Ngãi Province to effectively implement the Party’s guidelines and policies in local socio-economic development.

The ceremony included the participation of delegates and representatives of the investor in the official groundbreaking ritual.

This project is considered highly significant, contributing to affirming the potential, advantages, and attractiveness of Dung Quất Economic Zone in investment attraction, especially in the mechanical engineering industry - a fundamental sector playing an important role in sustainable industrial development. The project is expected to enhance industrial production capacity, promote the modernization of the economic structure, create more stable jobs for local workers, and contribute positively to the provincial budget and social welfare.

Speaking at the ceremony, a leader of the Dung Quất Economic Zone and Quảng Ngãi Industrial Parks Authority (DEZA) highly appreciated the investor’s proactiveness and determination during the project preparation process, as well as the close coordination of relevant departments and local authorities in supporting and guiding the completion of investment procedures in accordance with regulations. The Management Board expressed confidence that, with the investor’s capacity and experience, the project will be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality and safety, and will soon operate effectively.

At the same time, the investor was requested to strictly comply with legal regulations on construction, environmental protection, and occupational safety to ensure the project is carried out safely and effectively.
