On the afternoon of July 9, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, chaired a conference to announce personnel decisions regarding the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks Authority (DEZA).

Attending the conference were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Ms. Y Ngoc, and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Phuoc Hien and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sam.

At the conference, authorized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Mr. Ta Cong Dung, announced the decision to appoint the head and eight deputy heads of DEZA. The term of appointment is five years, starting from July 8, 2025.

Specifically, Comrade Luong Kim Son, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, was appointed as head of DEZA.

Eight deputy heads of the management board were also appointed, including Comrades Hoang Trung Thong, Tran Van Man, Huynh Quoc Trung, Thai Thanh Binh, Ha Hong Duy, Dam Minh Le, Luong Trong Nguyen, and Nguyen Hai Truong.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, congratulated the newly appointed officials. He expressed hope that they would quickly stabilize after the merger, uphold a strong sense of responsibility, demonstrate dynamism and creativity, and assign duties within the leadership team appropriately—the right person for the right job. He emphasized the need to review all pre-merger tasks to ensure consistent and determined implementation in the remaining six months of the year. He called for unity, consensus, and a strong determination to excellently fulfill all assigned responsibilities.

The chairman also called on departments, sectors, and local authorities to support and facilitate the leadership team of DEZA in successfully carrying out their upcoming tasks.

On behalf of the newly appointed officials, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Head of DEZA Mr. Luong Kim Son expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him by the provincial leadership. He pledged to continue fostering unity within the team, swiftly engage with their new roles, and proactively advise the Provincial People's Committee in managing the assigned areas. He also expressed hope for continued support and facilitation from the provincial leadership to successfully undertake the significant responsibilities entrusted to the board.
